The Biden Administration’s last-minute decision to send Joe Biden to the UAW picket lines in Michigan on September 26, demonstrated two things. First and foremost, as LaRouchePAC has confirmed in its face-to-face organizing, a burgeoning number of auto workers are open in their support for Donald Trump and their rejection of Biden’s green agenda, portending a historic political shift in 2024.

Second, Biden’s memory deficit, whether political or physical, was on full display when he spoke to a couple of dozen workers in Belleville, MI. Biden bloviated, “You saved the automobile industry back in 2008 and before. You made a lot of sacrifices and gave up a lot.” Maybe he deserves a pass and he doesn’t remember that he was Vice President in 2009, when the Obama “auto czar” Steven Rattner orchestrated the slaughter of auto workers jobs and standard of living, while bailing out the Wall Street criminals who created the 2008 financial crisis.

Biden told the striking workers, “Let’s get back what we lost, OK?” We?! Under the Obama-Biden Administration-led restructuring of the auto industry, the UAW gave up cost-of-living adjustments, pensions, and wages. It lost tens of thousands of jobs when auto plants, suppliers and dealers were eliminated and whole chunks of auto manufacturing were sent to other countries.

That loss of jobs and living standards was Biden’s first crime. Now, he is in the process of compounding it, with his full embrace of the oligarchy’s push to deindustrialize what is left of the U.S. economy. His green agenda and forced march into an electric vehicle dystopia will result in the wipeout of another 40 percent of auto jobs, lower wages at battery plants, and no affordable American-built cars for the average family.

Auto workers understand this, and it is what gives the current strike a different character. UAW President Shawn Fain, and Bloviating Joe, may argue that this is all about wages, and that the workers are only striking against the greedy companies and billionaires. We are finding, instead, that the people on the picket lines understand that it is the globalist agenda, and its policies of free trade, bailout and radical environmentalism, that have caused the collapse in wages and living standards.

This is a political strike, as much as it is an economic strike. It is the leading edge of an historical transformation of the political landscape, which is bringing workers, manufacturers, farmers, builders and families together into an unstoppable movement to put Donald Trump back into the White House.

Then President Trump, as the 47th President, can act on his Agenda47. His pledge to build hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of new natural gas, coal, and nuclear power plants will give us the quality and quantity of energy needed to turn the U.S. back into a manufacturing superpower. The highly skilled jobs which will come with the construction of those plants will be complemented by the jobs created in the construction of the ten new “Freedom Cities” proposed by Trump as hubs of new industries. These, and other Agenda47 policies will create the conditions for a “quantum leap in the American standard of living,” as opposed to the green agenda’s “race to the bottom.”

Donald Trump will address an audience of auto workers in Michigan on September 27, contrasting his vision to the continuing economic crimes of Joe Biden. Stay tuned for our ongoing coverage.
